UPDATE: Camp NaNoWriMo

I’ve been extremely productive as a writer since I finished my undergrad. This newfound productivity makes me feel less like I’m spinning my wheels, even if I’m still looking for traction. Because I believe in positive reinforcement and in trying to be nice to myself, I pat myself on the back for working hard and getting a lot done. I think I might be turning into a slight workaholic, but that’s okay with me at this stage.

This is all to arrive at this point: I’ve always wanted to participate in NaNoWriMo, but I haven’t had the time or the energy before now. When an invitation to join Camp NaNoWriMo popped up in my Twitter feed, I didn’t hesitate to sign up.

Because I haven’t been an active NaNoWriMo participant before, I don’t know if the “Revision” project option I selected is unique to Camp NaNoWriMo or not. In any case, I won’t be starting fresh on April 1st, but will instead be revising the first draft of my novel.

So I’m looking for bunkmates. Let me know if you’d like to get involved. You can leave a comment, use the contact form, email me, tweet @me, send me a carrier pigeon … whatever your preferred method of contact is: use it. My Camp NaNoWriMo camper profile is here.

See you at camp. Happy writing!
